Private swimming lessons: There are a lot of advantages to private swimming lessons in comparison to group lessons. They get the full lesson of one on one time with the instructor. That is essential in learning how to swim, especially if the student has a fear of the water or has never had lessons before. They get a full half hour lesson 2 or 3 times a week and the learning to swim process usually happens a lot faster for students in private lessons.
Group lessons: Group lessons are great for students who have previous swimming experience and are trying to learn new strokes or to become stronger swimmers. We will take between 2 and 5 students in our group lessons, but we require that they are all at a very similar swimming ability. When they are close in ability, they can still learn when the instructor is with another student because the skill will be familiar to them. They can watch the other students and see how they are doing a particular stroke and listen to the instructors comments and apply it to themselves. This won't work if one student is just learning how to blow bubbles and go underwater and another is learning the backstroke.
*We do not put group classes together, so get your friends, family members, neighbors, and classmates together for a great time this summer.
***Swimming lesson referral program***
When you register for swimming lessons (group or private), you will receive referral cards to give to anyone you know who is in need of swimming lessons. When that person signs up, and brings the referral card, we will notify you that you have a $30 credit towards your next session. That's a free lesson! Referral cards can be combined for multiple discounts.
Lifeguarding for parties: We provide lifeguarding services for parties on the weekends. While parents always have the good intention of "keeping an eye" on their children, there are often many distractions that prevent them from doing so. We read too many unfortunate stories in the newspaper about drownings, and most of them could have been prevented. Hire a lifeguard and
eliminate the worry. If you were sending you child to a pool party, wouldn't it be nice to know that there was extra supervision and one more person, whose only reason for being there was to "keep an eye" on your child?
Fitness training: Are you trying to get in shape? Are you training for a big race? Even if you're just looking for a fun way to exercise with a friend, swimming is a great way to do it. Our training sessions are 1 hour long and we will take individuals or up to 3 students at a time. Classes follow our
swimming lessons schedule.
